Sagitta x Mell-o Cashmere Socks

We firmly believe that warmth makes you happy. Especially when it comes as soft and colorful as our Sagitta x Mell-o Cashmere Socks.

With their gently blending stripes in pink, blue, and beige, they are not only a comforting accessory on cold days but also a little piece of luxury for everyday life. Each sock is handmade and thus a true unique piece.

The socks are made in a small workshop in Nepal, where skilled hands dye the 4-ply cashmere yarn using an artistic tie-dye technique. The yarn consists of 100% finest cashmere and is processed AZO-free and environmentally friendly.

The socks are colorful, cozy, and wonderfully soft: perfect for snuggling, dreaming, or simply giving winter a smile.

Care tip:
Cashmere is a delicate fiber that loves special care. Please clean only by hand with lukewarm water and mild detergent, do not wring or rub, and then lay flat to dry. This way, your Mell-o socks stay as beautiful as they are - for many cozy moments.

Skin Scrubber

The Sagitta Skin Scrubber - painted blue/pink to match the socks - is a small tool made of clay that gently glides over the heels and slightly roughens the skin. The specially developed texture is designed to be especially gentle on the skin and removes only a minimal amount of callus.

Each Skin Scrubber is handmade from clay. The texture is carefully designed, wheel-thrown on a potter's wheel, and fired at 1,240 degrees. We have tested the effectiveness of the texture multiple times.

All Skin Scrubbers are dishwasher safe.

Tip: If you scrub off too much callus, your body produces more skin and immediately replaces the scrubbed-off callus. You should definitely avoid this cycle.

When washing or showering, the Skin Scrubber removes the topmost, usually hardened skin cells.

Urea Serum

The Urea Serum makes your feet as soft as velvet! Often, the skin on the heels is too dry. This makes it rough and brittle and loses its elasticity. The formation of thick callus layers is also annoying and can impair the suppleness of the skin on the feet. The feet not only look unattractive, but swelling and painful cracks can also develop.

With the Sagitta Urea Serum, you hold a foot serum in your hands that is a real innovation in formulation and ensures that your feet become as soft as velvet in a short time. It contains ten percent urea and valuable care ingredients and thus does not stimulate callus growth. It creates an ideal “milieu” in which a healthy acid mantle of the skin can form, keeping the skin flora intact. This milieu keeps the skin moist so that it remains permanently supple and resilient and hardly any callus forms even under pressure and friction.

Good to know: The serum is vegan because the contained urea has been synthetically produced for many years – completely without animal ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

INCI: Ethanol BIO, Aqua, Urea, Lactic Acid, Glycerin BIO, Isopropyl Myristate, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil BIO (Almond Oil), Sodium Hydroxide, Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Salicylic Acid, Juniperus Communis Fruit Oil BIO (Juniper Berry Oil).

HOW THE MAIN INGREDIENTS WORK

Urea naturally keeps the skin moist. It helps the skin bind water and regulate moisture balance. It also acts keratolytically, meaning it dissolves the bonds between dead skin cells. This improves the natural shedding process of the skin and ensures a smooth skin surface. Urea is also attributed antimicrobial and skin-soothing properties. By the way: if more urea were contained in the serum, the callus would dissolve too much and the body would start producing more callus again.

Lactic Acid and Salicylic Acid, also called lactic acid and salicylic acid, also act keratolytically, i.e., dissolving and exfoliating callus.

Almond Oil is an especially mild oil. The largest component of the contained fatty acids, about 86 percent, is oleic acid. This fatty acid penetrates deeply into the skin and forms a protective barrier. It moisturizes dry skin areas and soothes irritations. Almond oil also contains palmitic acid, which additionally strengthens the skin's natural acid mantle, as well as vitamins B and E, which contribute to skin protection in multiple ways.

Juniper Berry Oil acts antibacterial and cleansing and can also be used for skin healing. It also has a pleasant, spicy-fresh scent.

APPLICATION

After showering or bathing, prepare the skin on your feet for the serum by gently rubbing over it with the skin scrubber to open the pores. It is important that the feet are moistened during this. Please do not rub dry, as long and strong rubbing stimulates callus formation.

Then dry your feet and shake the Urea Serum well before use. Press the pad located on the bottle neck onto the skin so that it fills. Once the pad is filled, it dispenses the Urea Serum dosed onto the skin when you stroke the pad over the area you want to treat. If the pad is empty, simply press it again on the skin to refill it.

A thin application morning and evening for one to two months, depending on the thickness of the callus, is sufficient. Once the callus is reduced, the success can be easily maintained by continuing to apply the serum every one to two days.
After that, the application only needs to be done occasionally, every one to two days, to maintain the result.

Please be patient: the more and more cracked the callus is, the longer the application takes. Do not try to speed up the process by strong rubbing: rather apply the serum more often until the next scrubbing.

Avoid all washing additives such as soap or shower gel when washing your feet if possible. You should completely avoid moisturizing your feet.

Pleasant: Your hands stay clean because you do not need to massage in the serum. Contact of the serum with the hand is not necessary.

TIP: Also moisten the nail bed on your toes with serum; then your nails grow more evenly in a soft environment.
