Sagitta hair soap is a pure natural soap for basic hair care, made by hand according to old family traditions. It cleanses the hair particularly gently and does not irritate the skin. That's why it's ideal for thin, easily greasy hair and itchy scalps. It is enriched with sage, nettle and chamomile, which in a balanced mixture help to soothe the scalp.

Even if the washing experience with hair soap is different than usual, after a short time you won't want to go back to normal shampoos because the effect is convincing. Since Sagitta hair soap, in contrast to conventional shampoos, does not contain any harmful surfactants or emulsifiers, greasing is prevented and hair washing lasts longer.

For radiant shine, easy combing and to close the cuticle layer of the hair after washing, we recommend an acidic rinse with apple cider vinegar.

Organic farming

Most of the ingredients in the hair soap come from certified organic farming (kbA) and are all palm oil-free. Of course, we do not use any chemical additives, heavy metals, pesticides, preservatives, parabens and microplastics.

LIVE HEALTHIER WITH HEALTHY HABITS

If you have fine, greasy hair or an itchy scalp, avoid chemicals and try a hair soap. It makes the hair more grippy and it only becomes greasy slowly. Hair soap is healthier for skin and hair than conventional shampoos because it does not contain any surfactants or other harmful additives. which can have an unfavorable effect on the skin flora. You are also doing good for the environment, as all ingredients are natural and biodegradable.

INCI: Aqua, Cocoa nucifera oil, Sodium hydroxide, Ricinus communis oil, Olea europea fruit oil, Butyrospermum parki butter, Theobroma kacao seed butter, Prunus amygdalus dulcis oil, Persea gratissima oil, Orbignya oleifera seed oil, Simmondsia chinensis seed oil, aroma, Hectorite, Calcium carbonate, hydrolized silk, Urtica dioicia, Salvia officinalis, Chamomilla recutica, Citral, Eugenol, Geraniol, Citranol, Limonene, Linalool.

This is how the most important ingredients work:

Coconut oil has a skin-caring effect because it keeps the skin in good condition. It is also hair conditioning. This means it makes the hair easy to comb, supple, soft and shiny and gives it volume.

castor oil has a skin-protecting and skin-caring effect. It keeps the skin in good condition and makes it smooth and supple. It also protects the skin from external influences.

olive oil consists of approximately 85% unsaturated and 15% saturated fatty acids. The unsaturated fatty acids in particular make olive oil a real powerhouse in skin care. It contains plenty of linoleic acid, which is also an essential component of our outermost layer of skin and can help, for example, to reduce age spots. Olive oil is slowly absorbed into the skin and therefore has enough time to fully develop its active ingredients against dry and rough skin. Cold-pressed, it not only contains plenty of vitamin E for cell renewal, but also valuable polyphenols that catch free radicals in the skin and thus protect the skin cells from premature aging.

Shea butter is obtained from the fruits of the shea tree, which grows in Africa. The seeds are traditionally processed by hand into a buttery vegetable fat that contains a high proportion of skin-friendly fatty acids and vitamin E. Shea butter provides the skin with a lot of moisture and relieves the feeling of dry and irritated skin.

almond oil contains a particularly high amount of unsaturated fatty acids and provides mild, anti-irritating care for the skin.

Avocado oil contains plenty of vitamin E and many unsaturated fatty acids. It protects against drying out and supports cell regeneration. It has a skin-care effect as it keeps the skin in good condition.

Babassu oil is skin caring. It makes the skin smooth and supple.

Jojoba oil is hair conditioning. This means it makes the hair easy to comb, supple, soft and shiny and gives it volume. It also has a skin-care effect: it keeps the skin in good condition and makes it smooth and supple.

Hectorite is a well-tolerated mineral swelling agent and stabilizer.

calcium carbonate regulates and stabilizes the pH value and therefore has a buffering effect.

Silk protein has an antistatic effect by reducing the electrostatic charge. It nourishes the skin and also has a hair conditioning effect: it makes the hair easy to comb, supple, soft and shiny and gives it volume.

Nettle leaves contain flavonoids, vitamin A and minerals. Regular use supplies skin and hair with nutrients and thereby strengthens the hair.

sage has a calming effect on the scalp. Sage is also known for its anti-dandruff effect, as an irritated scalp is often the cause of the white skin flakes.

chamomile is valued in natural medicine primarily for its calming and anti-inflammatory effects and has been used for centuries. In hair soap, it can help reduce inflammation and redness of the scalp

Citral, Eugenol, Geraniol, Citranol, Limonene and Linalool are aromatizing fragrances of plant origin.

APPLICATION

Get your hair really dripping wet and rub the hair soap into your scalp. Then run the soap along the hair as if you were combing it until enough lather is created. Alternatively, you can rub the soap in your hands and massage the resulting foam into your hair. A third option is to cut off a piece of the hair soap with a knife and dissolve it in a little warm water. You then pour half of this mixture over your head and lather your hair with your hands. Then repeat this process again with the second half of the hair soapy water. Then rinse your hair long and thoroughly with warm water.

Hair soaps are full of nourishing oils and butters, which is why it is particularly important to lather the hair soap carefully and rinse it out. If residues of these nourishing oils remain in the hair, the hair can become stringy.

Since hair soaps are alkaline, the surface of the hair becomes somewhat roughened when washed. The hair feels more manageable and heavier than after washing with a shampoo. That's why we recommend an acidic rinse after washing. It closes the cuticle layer of your hair and ensures radiant shine and easy combing.

Recipe for the sour rinse: Mix 1 liter of water with 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and distribute it evenly over your wet hair immediately after shampooing.

You don't need to rinse the rinse afterwards, the vinegar scent will disappear as it dries.

Tip: Instead of vigorously rubbing your hair dry, it is gentler to just pat it dry before styling it as usual with a hairdryer or letting it air dry.
