SAGITTA FELT BODY SOAP

Sagitta felted soap is a handcrafted almond oil soap with a summery fresh lemongrass scent. The production of these natural soaps in their woolen coats is very elaborate. First, they are traditionally hand-made using the gentle cold process, and then each one is lovingly wet-felted by hand. With this felting method, the felt fits snugly around the soap.

The mild almond oil for the body soap is extracted from the kernel of the almond. It contains important minerals, many B vitamins, and protects the skin with a natural UV filter. This nourishes the skin and leaves it feeling soft and velvety.

Our felt artist lives and works on the Canary Island of La Palma. She uses pure organic sheep's wool for her creations, which meets German standards and is cleaned without chemical detergents. The wool is dyed exclusively with organic colors. This gentle treatment preserves much of the valuable lanolin in the felted wool, which replenishes and protects the skin.

For sensitive skin
When the felted soap is moistened, it develops a light, fine lather and feels incredibly soft on the skin. The combination of soap and felt cleanses and cares for the skin and is especially soothing for sensitive skin. Thanks to its gentle exfoliating and massaging effect, it removes dead skin cells and stimulates circulation.

You can use the felted soap not only for your body but also for your face. This way, the skin on your face also feels completely relaxed and supple.

If the felted soap is still wet after use, it cannot dissolve or slip out of the felt cover, as the felt holds it tightly. This makes it last for many, many showers and much longer than a soap without a woolen coat. The soap can be used up completely, leaving no annoying soap scraps—just a small felt pad remains at the end.

The felted soaps are available in several variants, each as a limited edition:

• "Heart" in a heart shape, white-red-multicolored marbled
• "Stone" in white-gray marbled,
• "Moss" in green marbled.

Tip: Your laundry or wardrobe is the ideal place to store your felted soap. It stays dry and dark there. Since it has a delicate lemongrass scent, you'll bring a touch of summer freshness to your closet until you finally use it in the bathroom to pamper your skin.

Microbiome-friendly
The felted soap is also microbiome-friendly. The mild formula protects the natural balance of the skin flora. Thanks to gentle cleansing and valuable ingredients, the skin's microbiome is preserved, strengthening the natural protective barrier.

Organic cultivation
The ingredients of this body soap come from certified organic farming and are palm oil free. Of course, we do not use any chemical additives, heavy metals, pesticides, preservatives, parabens, or microplastics.

LIVE HEALTHIER WITH HEALTHY HABITS
Use body soap instead of shower gel for washing and showering. Most shower gels, even in natural cosmetics, contain surfactants that can negatively affect the skin flora. With a Sagitta felted body soap, you protect your sensitive skin from these sometimes very aggressive ingredients. The gentle exfoliating effect removes dead skin cells and the light massage stimulates circulation. Highly recommended for dry skin and for skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis.

You can easily skip applying lotion to your skin after showering or washing. The felted body soap, with its rich active ingredients, leaves your skin wonderfully soft and well cared for even without additional body lotion. And your skin will thank you, as it is generally able to provide itself with enough moisture. It draws this from the air and from your own body. So it's better to drink an extra glass or two of water if you want to do something good for your skin.

HOW THE MAIN INGREDIENTS WORK:

Olive oil consists of about 85% unsaturated and 15% saturated fatty acids. The unsaturated fatty acids in particular make olive oil a real powerhouse in skin care. It contains plenty of linoleic acid, which is also an essential component of our outermost skin layer and can, for example, help reduce age spots. Olive oil is slowly absorbed into the skin, giving it plenty of time to unfold its effects against dry and rough skin. When cold-pressed, it contains not only plenty of vitamin E for cell renewal but also valuable polyphenols that capture free radicals in the skin and thus protect skin cells from premature aging.

Almond oil contains especially high levels of unsaturated fatty acids, important minerals, and many B vitamins. It gently cares for the skin and is anti-irritant and protects it with a natural UV filter.

Shea butter is obtained from the fruit of the shea tree, which grows in Africa. The seeds are traditionally processed by hand into a buttery plant fat that contains a high proportion of skin-friendly fatty acids and vitamin E. Shea butter provides the skin with plenty of moisture and relieves the feeling of dry and irritated skin.

Castor oil has skin-protecting and skin-caring properties. It keeps the skin in good condition and makes it smooth and supple. It also protects the skin from external influences.

La Palma sea salt contains valuable minerals and thus supports the skin's self-healing powers. It softens calluses and dry skin areas and stimulates healing. In addition, sea salt can have antibacterial, disinfectant, and anti-inflammatory effects.

Citronellol is a fragrant substance of plant origin.

APPLICATION

Briefly lather the Sagitta felted body soap with water and rub the felted soap over your wet body. Then rinse off the soap lather as usual.


Tip: Applying a body lotion or cream is usually not necessary. Just try it out and see how it feels for you.
