The neem tree – also known as Indian lilac or margosa – grows in tropical regions such as India, Burma, the southern Himalayas, Africa, and America and is widely used in cosmetics. Since the neem wood burns odorlessly, the essential oils can fully develop their scent. Tragacanth, a plant-based gum from the sap of Astragalus plants, keeps the cone stable.
Each cone is hand-shaped and burns for about twelve minutes.
